Navs potluck tonight went swell! At first, Brenda and I thought there might not be enough food, but it turns out many people were just late. :P Whew. We had enough food after all, and it was fun tasting everyone's homemade food. I love it, all that home-cooked food! I'd have to say the broccoli salad was my favourite.

I made a Polish stew called Leczo, following a Polish family recipe that my good friend Ags had tried out on me before and I absolutely loved! It was tasty and hearty in the comfort food way. Also, the whole process of making the stew was soothing to the soul, as odd as that may sound to some people. Cooking does that for me, I guess.
